I’m Jennifer, a Product Designer who works with companies large and small to craft their mobile experiences.
There are so many moving pieces that make up building and designing software. Most projects start, however, with a basic idea or problem. Here’s where I come in: I immerse myself in the project, learning about the industry, users, what else is out there. Giving form to an idea is part creativity and part practicality. We make plans for answering questions, we create designs and prototypes for testing with users, and finally, FINALLY, at the very end. We get to build it. It becomes a real thing! Over my career, I’ve honed the many steps that go into the idea-to-product process over dozens of projects but each time is slightly different and fascinating. It’s what I like best, and what I do best.
Through my years of experience with LunarLincoln (a mobile agency I co-founded in 2013) I’ve become a firm believer that communication and collaboration between product owners and engineering teams is critical to a successful product. Sitting next to the teams that will turn my designs into code has lent me an invaluable perspective on how flexiblity and communication can make something even better than you imagined.
My far and distant past also includes working with marketing agencies and nonprofits on both traditional and digital media initiatives. I’ve designed billboards and museum exhibits, beer campaigns and banking brochures, wedding invites and clothing labels. You name it, I’ve done it. Or tried to learn how to do it.

I’m a voracious reader of fiction, plowing through the library at the rate of 2 or 3 books a week. I love my cats, classic cars, and wine. I’m always down for some trivia at a neighborhood bar or restoring vintage furniture found at the flea market. Ask me where I’m traveling to next or send me your favorite gif.
